Oliver's POV
I shut the door and leaned heavily against it trying to find the energy to walk just a little further. I was currently underneath my nightclub. Where I kept the things I needed to be The Hood. I pushed off the door and forced my shaky legs to hold my weight. I was so tired and I couldn't even remember the last time I had eaten. I was so busy pretending to be rich, playboy Oliver Queen all day and then all night I was out being The Hood. I rarely had time to sleep let alone eat. On the rare days I was home at night and not out being The Hood I was busy trying -and usually failing I might add- to sleep.
I shoved those thoughts away as I pushed off the door and slowly walked into my lair. I plopped down in the chair in front of my computer systems. I rested my head on the table and closed my eyes, my stomach still rumbling. I don't know how long I laid there until I heard the door open and then close. I lifted my head off the table and tried to look like I wasn't about to pass out from exhaustion.
"Hey." I said as Diggle entered the room."Hey, didn't think I'd find you here." Diggle said as he walked across the room. "Why not?" I asked trying to not look half asleep. "I figured you'd be at home by now." Diggle answered as he looked around."Yeah, I was just about to head out."I lied. I didn't think I could even stand up let alone get home. "Good, you need to spend more time with your family." He said as he looked around searching for something. "What are you looking for?" I asked as my eyelids drooped ever so slightly. "My coat I left it here this morning." He replied as he searched the room. "Over there." I pointed to the other room off to the side of the main room. "Thanks." He said as he went in search for his coat.
Once he left the room I let my eyes close feeling slightly light headed and nauseous from lack of food and sleep. 'Just for a few minutes' I thought sleepily as I leaned my head against the table.
Diggle's POV
"Found it." I said when I found my coat in the other room. When I didn't get an immediate response from Oliver I walked back into the main room. I immediately saw the reason why I hadn't got a response. Oliver had fallen asleep. I knew he had been working nonstop the past couple of weeks but I didn't know why he had come here instead of going home if he was that tired.
It was strange seeing him asleep. His face didn't have quite as many hard lines as it did when he was conscious. He looked younger and slightly vulnerable. Suddenly I heard a slight rumble coming from Oliver. I was still trying to figure out what it was when I heard it again. I felt like an idiot for not figuring it out sooner. It was Oliver's stomach. If he had been so busy that he was exhausted enough that he fell asleep in a chair-unintentionally -then eating had probably been the last thing on his agenda. 'Well that's a problem I can fix' I thought to myself as I started to leave the club.
