Why, oh why, did I decide to come into work today? Catherine sat pondering, staring at the scene in front of her. She had just walked in a few minutes ago and already regretted it.
Nick and Warrick had Greg tied to his computer chair with tape around his waist and some binding his arms and legs. There was one piece stuck over his mouth and another one on each of his arms.
Nick had gracefully placed a "dunce" cap on Greg's head. It was tilted slightly, threatening to fall off. The boys had to place duct tape on their own mouths to keep from bursting out with a loud chorus of laughter.
Some genius had given them Sharpie markers. Probably Sara, Catherine thought.
They were currently sitting there, drawing all over Greg's body. Nick was giving him rosy red cheeks and bright red lips on the tape. He had already drawn "eye shadow" on his eyes and darkened his eyebrows with the black marker.
Warrick drew tattoos up and down his arms, neck, and the exposed part of his legs under his khaki shorts. He started to try to draw dragons but soon gave up on that, realizing that he wasn't an artist. Now he was drawing butterflies, the knock-off kind that you draw by using back-to-back 'B's.
All the while Greg was sleeping with his iPod in his ears.
It was that moment that Sara and Grissom chose to walk in, talking about their current case. They stopped dead in their tracks when they saw Greg.
"What in the world is going on in here!?" Grissom bellowed as loudly as he could, hoping to wake Greg.
It didn't work.
Greg moved slightly, but he wasn't about to wake from his deep sleep.
"Wow, he really is out." Sara stated. "Are you guys just going to leave him here like this?"
Warrick and Nick shot each other a mischievous grin and turned to Sara.
"Nope." Was Warrick's only reply.
They took that moment to rip, with unnecessarily extreme force, the tape from Greg's hairy arms and the one covering his mouth. His eyes shot open when they did and he let out a bloodcurdling scream that would put any disappointed five year old to shame. He tried to jump up and run out the door, but he was still taped to the chair. Nick had left a small strip of tape untapped when they tied him up and he and Warrick now grabbed them and spun Greg as they unraveled him. When they were done, Greg finally got up and ran towards the door. He tripped over the foot that Sara had stuck out and Greg flung himself out the door. He smashed into the opposite was and slid not so gracefully to the floor. From there, he stood up and ran down the hall, looking like a drunken duck and catching the attention of every person he passed.
The gang was practically rolling on the floor at the hilarious site. Even Grissom couldn't control his laughter it was so funny. Greg even ran past Ecklie but all he got was a confused look and a small sigh. Then Ecklie came in a played Twenty Questions with the current personal present.
"May I ask why Greg is running through the halls with marker all over him. He looks really scared." Ecklie actually sounded concerned!
This triggered more laughter, some shed tears, and a lot of aching sides.
"Okay then, I guess I don't want to know." He walked back out and saw Greg running away from Hodges, who currently had a camera.
Ecklie sighed again. "Poor guy."
Aww poor Greg. lol I just had to write this. My friend did it to me, only I didn't freak out as much.
Please please review! It'll be really nice since I'm waiting to get the math test back that could give me an A or B in my stupid math class. arg.
Thanks so much for reading!
