"Goooooooooooood MORNING!" Maria shouted as she bounced out of her bed with yellow hangings. Her other roommates grumbled, so Maria just took turns bouncing on the ends of their beds.

"Today is the very first Quidditch match of the year, folks! And yours truly," she said, taking a sweeping bow, "is Hufflepuff's brand new Seeker!"

Maria was the perfect build for a Seeker. She was small, light, and agile, and she would take risks on her broomstick that no one had seen the likes of since Harry Potter played on the Gryffindor team.

Secretly, her Head of House, Professor Sprout, was exquisitely pleased with her 3rd year student and gave her a small wink as she sped into the Great Hall for breakfast. She was always so bright and enthusiastic, despite her size.

Just before she headed out of the changing room, one of the Chasers pulled her aside.

"Maria," she asked, "do you want to show some team spirit with me?"

"Of course!" Maria replied right away.

The 7th year girl whipped out her wand and before Maria knew what had happened her beautiful brown hair had been turned the same color as the Hufflepuff uniforms, as had the other girl's.

"Madam Hooch is going to love this!" Maria squealed as she ran out to the pitch.
