Hello, my readers. Well I may not have gotten any reviews, but thanks to Phantomoftheoperalover, who chatted with me a bit. I thought of a new idea for a one shot.

So enjoy.

"You Have No Power Over Me!"

"Say Daddy."

"Hmm goo boo."

"Say Mommy."

"Goo goo boop."

The Goblin Queen, High Princess of the Seelie, and the High Queen of the Unseelie sighed. Her little daughter sat in front of her. Kalida was old enough to begin talking, but no matter how many words her mother said to her she didn't say a thing.

"Kali, sweetie. Come one and say something."

The little princess just looked at her mother and smiled.

"Well, maybe your father can get you to say something."

Sarah picked her daughter and headed inside The Castle Beyond The Goblin City. Upon reaching the throne room, she found her husband lounging in his throne bored, while the goblins were partying.

But once they saw the Queen and the little princess they calmed down.

It had gone quiet. Too quiet. Jareth looked at the throne room entryway and smiled. His wife and daughter were in the doorway. Then he noticed Sarah's face.

"Precious, what's wrong?"

"Kali won't say a word."

Jareth swung his legs to the floor and walked to his family. As he stood in front of his wife, he took his daughter from her.

"Maybe she isn't ready."

His wife sighed. "Maybe. Can you watch her for a while? I need to help Toby with something."

"Of course, I can."

Sarah walked away leaving her daughter with her father. Jareth carried his daughter to his throne. He lounged in the throne with his daughter in his lap. The goblins sat quietly watching the Princess and her father.

There the two sat watching the goblins, while the little princess played with a crystal her father had handed her. Suddenly a goblin guard came running into the throne room.

"Your Majesty, the King of Nightmares is requesting an attendance with you."

"Why?"

"He says he will only speak to you about it."

Jareth sighed. Just his luck. He was spending time with his daughter and Malek just had to show up.

"Show him in."

Jareth glanced at the King of Nightmares. Most feared him, but Jareth knew he wasn't as fearsome as some believed.

"Hello, Malek."

"Jareth. And who is this?"

"My daughter."

"Oh. The Princess."

"What do you want?"

"Actually I came to see your daughter."

Jareth glared at him. "Why pray tell would you wish to see my daughter?"

"The same reason you protected her mother."

Jareth looked at the Fae in front of him. "You don't mean?"

"Yes."

"Don't worry I will protect my daughter."

"I have no doubt that you will, but I ask that I be allowed to watch over her."

"I don't see why not, but don't let her mother find out. She wasn't too happy about finding out that I was watching her."

"Of course, my king."

Jareth smirked.

"Yoggo."

Jareth looked at his daughter. She was looking at the king in front of her.

"Uoogo hafe nooooo poder overn mey!" "You have no power over me!"

Jareth smiled at her and then glanced at Malek.

"You should be honor you just witnessed her first words and her first sentence."

There you go. So review if you please.
