"Sorry little drummer boy this Girl Scout isn't in the market for a new boy toy."
Each time she turned me down, a wicked grin in place as she crushed my heart in her hands, it was always with the same biting words.
"I'm not a little boy, Elle."
Those words that come spitting out at me, as if it was the whole gender that burned her rather then Sylar, filled to the brim with so much goddamn hate.
"If you say so, Lukey, but that doesn't mean anything to me. You'll always be one to me."
After each time, and yet I found myself back at her door once again (even bloody and broken), I would be ripped into pieces by that sweet face but instead of giving in I would come back the next day and the next.
(no man, which I was no matter what she said, in his right mind would give up on Elle Bishop)
Her bitter words do nothing but sting me until the brink of death, all the while a smile is still in place, and build up so much rage that this 'little boy' might explode.
(and trust me it might even top Peter's little fourth of July stunt)
It isn't long before a hundred times pass, a million, and still I'm a little boy in those blue eyes of hers, those that catch me and won't let me go, and it's about time to prove her wrong.
(which is hard to do since she believes that nothing she does is wrong)
As those dreadful words began to form on her lips, those pear shaped things that should have been mine months ago (that burn me up just thinking about them), I pulled her to me and shut her up for good.
This little stunt wasn't done without some deadly consequences and they were quite shocking.
(who said a mouthful of lightning wasn't fun?)
"It's about time, Boy Scout, I've been waiting an awfully long time for you to man up."
I had seen through her game, and I would have to complete many more of them over our time together (I was always a master at them), but still those words did their job bringing me down.
"Never call me a freaking boy again, got that Bishop?"
(it was the beginning of the end for my childhood, after all I was a man now)
"Cross my heart and hope to die, my little man."
