Don't Leave Me
Calleigh steps off the elevator in the hospital.
She sees Horatio and runs up to him.
"Horatio, what happened? Is Eric okay?" with a concerned voice
"We were at a crime scene and he got shot. They are taking him into surgery."
Calleigh sees the doctors bring him out of the room to operating room.
Calleigh walks up to Eric and "Eric, I am here. I won't leave you." Taking is hand and kissing it
Calleigh lets go of his hand when the roll him through some open double doors.
When the doors close she looks through the window until she couldn't see him anymore.
Couple of hours passes when a doctor comes out of the operating room to talk to them.
"Horatio and Calleigh."
They both get up from their seats and Horatio asks, "Doc, what's happening?"
"Eric is out of surgery. The bullet went into one of the lungs but we got it out. He will be okay. The recovery will take a while. The nurses are taking him to ICU and he will be there for a couple of hours until we can get him into a room. We will let you know when he can have visitors."
"Thank you, doctor." Horatio says
Calleigh letting out a sigh of relief.
Horatio turns to Calleigh and smiles at her.
"I am going to go back to the crime scene and see if I can found out on who did this to Eric. Call me later to tell me how he is doing."
Calleigh nods her head and watches him walk away.
Calleigh sets down on one of the chairs in the waiting room and waits.
A couple of hours have passed and a nurse walks and says, "Calleigh."
Calleigh looks up from the magazine she was reading and says, "Yes."
"Eric is out of ICU and we are moving him to his own room."
Calleigh puts down the magazine on the table and follows the nurse into the room.
"Thank you" Calleigh says to the nurse
Calleigh walks over to the bed and picks up Eric's hand and kisses it and then says, "I love you, Eric."
Calleigh pulls the chair towards the bed and sits down.
She picks up his hand again and rubs it.
"Eric, don't leave me. You have to stay here to be with me. I love you."
A nurse comes into the room and checked the machines.
"Is everything okay?" Calleigh asks
"Yes, everything is fine. Would you like to stay with him tonight?"
Calleigh shakes her head yes.
The nurse leaves the room and brings back a pillow and blanket for the bed next to Eric's.
"Thanks" while taking the things
Calleigh walks up to Eric's bed and kisses him goodnight.
The next morning.
Calleigh wakes up and sees Eric still sleeping.
She gets out of the bed and walks to Eric's bed and grabs his hand and kisses it.
"Good morning, Eric. Time to wake up."
The nurse comes into the room to see how Eric was doing.
"He should be waking up soon." The nurse says
As soon has she says that Eric slowly opens his eyes.
"Eric" Calleigh says smiling
"Calleigh" Eric says
"I am so glad that you are okay." Wiping a tear away "I love you so much. Don't you every leave me."
"I love you too, Calleigh. I promise that I won't leave you."
Calleigh leans in and kisses Eric and they hug.
