Chapter 1: Wake up call.

Hi my name is Elena Gilbert I am 17 years old, I am in love with Matt Donovan but his sister hates me I have no idea why, I was interrupted by a phone call I picked the phone up and looked at the call ID,

"Bonnie?" I thought,

I wonder what she wants, I picked the phone up answering it.

"Hey Bonnie, Whats the matter?" I asked.

I hung up she wanted to hang out tonight at the grill that means I had to get my body out of bed and get ready, I slide out of bed and I walk downstairs to make some breakfast in my Pjs where Anut Jenna is there with mr Saltzman, this is still strange having in my house...

"Hey Elena" Jenna said looking to me.

"Hi Anut Jenna, I won't be home later going to the grill with Bonnie" I said making myself some tea and toast and taking it to the table.

"Oh thats not a problem, I won't be home tonight late tonight I and Rick are going out." She said smiling.

I smiled at her and ignored her chatter I couldn't be bothered with it this morning, It was the anniversary of the death of my Parents today and it looks like she forgot that her sister and brother in law had died today, there names where Grayson Gilbert and Miranda Gilbert, I missed my mum I wish she was still here. My Brother Jeremy came down the stairs knocking out of my dream and I looked up he looked like he was high.

"Ok Jenna, I'm going I'll see you later." I said and grabbed my bag and a cookie from the jar.

"Bye Elena" She said and hugged me tight.

I walked out to be stopped my Jeremy.

"What do you want?" I asked looking at him.

"I remember its today a year.." He said looking at me.

"Oh there something you remember eh without going with Vicki and getting drunk out of your head." I said glaring at him.

"Hey! I loved them!" He shouted.

"Look Jer! I dont have time for this." I said and ran outside and got into my car.

I walked across the street and got into my car, damn I hate that boy sometimes, I got into my car when I saw Matt walking towards my house, I pressed my gass and speeded off towards school. As I arrived at the school I saw bonnie and Caroline talking, I got out of my car as they both saw me and came running towards me.

"Elena!" He both shouted.

"Hey Girls!" I said giggling.

They both hugged me and smiled,

"How are you?" Bonnie asked me.

"I'm ok." I said smiling.

Caroline looked at me and smiled,

"Look matts there?" She said smiling.

"What! No!" I frowned and ran into the bathroom.

I could hear footsteps as I wiped my face as Bonnie and Caroline came into the bathroom.

"Elena what was that all about?" Caroline asked.

"I want to break up with him." I looked at them.

"Oh now thats bad...you know matt vulnerable" Caroline said.

"I know thats why this is hard" I said.

"I think you are doing the right thing Elena." Bonnie said and gave me hug.

We all walked outside as I suddenly bumped into a boy with blondish brown hair and green eyes he looked at me and smiled.

"Hey, I'm sorry about that..." He said and walked off.

I was stood there with my mouth wide open just has matt came over to me.

"Hey Elena, why have you been avoiding me all day? " Matt asked.

"Eh Matt, We need to talk later." I said and ran off down the hallway.

I wasn't getting out of this any time soon.
