A/N Drabble. I don't own Regular Show.

He couldn't understand it.

Rigby couldn't understand what made his girlfriend like him the way she did. Rigby couldn't understand why any girl would like him to begin with. Underneath his cocky façade, Rigby knew that he wasn't exactly a "catch."

Looks? Decent, yeah. But once girls had the chance to actually get to know him, he was brushed aside. He's been called a "jerk," a "child," a "pitiful mass trying to pass as a breathing being." So what was it that made Eileen stick with him this far?

He wasn't exactly into her the first couple of times they had met. In fact, he barely acknowledged her own existence for quite some time.

He was rude. He was indifferent. Yet she still liked him.

Was it his charm? That's laughable. As if he had any. He was ignoring and avoiding her for as long as he could remember.

Was it his beauty? No. Eileen wasn't so shallow that she would commit to someone just for mere eye-candy. Then what exactly was it?

Or maybe, just maybe, Eileen genuinely liked him for him. A guy who doesn't change himself for anyone. A guy who doesn't deceive girls with petty, flattering comments like so many others do.

Nah, liking him for him? That couldn't be it.

He couldn't understand it. Rigby couldn't understand it at all.
