Blood trailed down the grass as rain mixed with it, watering it down heavily. The moon was cloaked behind the rain clouds that had gathered to rain upon the two figures down on the grass.
The girl stood up, her short pink hair moist with the oncoming rain that washed away the blood that stained the area. Her hands were up towards the sky, almost as if she was trying to reach for it and grasp it in her scarred hands. She wanted the light to come and shine upon them all, to bring hope back to her and bless her with the salvation she so desperately wished for.
Why have you forsaken me?
Her lifeless, green eyes fell down to the body in front of her feet. His raven hair fanned around him, almost as if it was a halo around him. Blood pooled around him, the smell of it was tainting everything, killing off anything that so much as brought peace to the world.
His red eyes were hollow with death as they looked like they were staring off into the distance of the black sky that surrounded them.
Why have you forsaken me in your eyes?
The rain kept pouring around them, this time coming down harder and faster. No matter how much the rain came, it would never cleanse the blood off the land.
Tears began to flow down her pale cheeks, smearing the blood that was on her face. Her hand grabbed the fabric of her shirt that covered her heart, the heart that was breaking at that very moment. She clenched it, squeezing tightly as her heart pounded in her ears.
In your heart forsaken me.
The katana that lie near the man's deceased body was picked up by her carefully. She stared into the silver, but blood stained blade and looked at her own reflection in its depths. The girl she saw was not the one that fawned over the man below her when they were twelve. What she saw was the eyes of the girl that killed the only one she loved, the man that she considered an angel in her eyes.
She turned the katana, so that the blade was facing her. She poised it to where her heart was, to where her very soul was.
I don't think you trust in my self-righteous suicide.
Clamping her eyes shut, she brought the blade down to her heart and awaited the pain that was sure to come with such a fatal wound.
The pain struck through her so suddenly it took the breath out of her. She plunged it deeper into her flesh, coughing up blood at the impact. Falling to the ground, she could still see the dreary sky hanging overhead. The rain pelted her face, mixing with her stream of tears. Her tears felt hot, though. They ran down her face as her emerald eyes started to close, looking out to the world for the very last time.
I cry when angels deserve to die.
Well, that's the first oneshot I've written in a long time. xD It was inspired by the song I'm obsessed with at the moment - Chop Suey by System of a Down. The words in italics are lyrics from the song, so they're not mine. =w=
If you're confused about what this one shot was about, it was about Sakura killing Sasuke, and how he had forsaken her so long ago. If you don't know, forsaken means to abandon, so he abandoned her the night he left the village. And after she kills him, she kills herself. :c
Oh I almost forgot this: Disclaimer - I don't own Naruto.
Well anyways, I hope you enjoyed this xD Please review!
