And We Are Together Once More
"Takeru-kun!"
The blonde looked away from his packing (having accidently tried to pack Patamon as well) for their trip to the Digital World - it was decided that they would go after everything had been too quiet after Alphamon's attack on their world, literally a couple of weeks before Christmas while they still had some nice, warm weather - when he heard what was unmistakebly Hikari Yagami's (his best friend's) voice as she knocked on his beedroom door.
"Open up, please! You have to see this!"
He sighed and got onto his feet, ignoring his partner's muffled words of annoyance for his poor wings, and opened the door to see the brunette's smiling face. Shooting her a questioning look - as she sounded like it was urgent but now she was all smiley - he was about to ask what was wrong when she stepped aside, giving him a full view of the person behind her. A person that should have been missing...
"D-Daisuke-kun?"
The redhead chuckled weakly as Takeru rushed past Hikari and enveloped him in a hug, feeling the other's tears soaking his left shoulder as he was embraced. The brunette watched with a happy grin on her face as the two boyfriends hugged each other, clearly no intent on letting go anytime soon. So, to give them more alone time, she decided to take Chibimon and Tailmon into the blonde's room to check on Patamon. When she was gone from the living room, the lovers pulled apart after what felt like forever.
"I t-thought I would never see you again when y-you disappeared t-three years ago.."
Daisuke hugged him again, leaning against the slightly taller teen.
"I'm b-back, Takeru. I'm back."
And never leaving again for any reason whatsoever if he could help it.
