"Bobobo..."
"...Yeah?"
"Tell me..."
"Tell you what?"
"Tell me how much you love me..."
Bobobo lowered his head and to look at the young girl with wide blue eyes and bubblegum pink-colored hair, who was watching him with anticipation. Staring at her through his shades, the afro-wearing warrior smiled weakily and said, "I love you alot, Beauty. You know that."
"You love me enough to risk your life to protect me in every fight we come across...and this is what it all came down to in the end." said Beauty, her voice choking up.
"Yeah. You're my responsibilty after all..." Bobobo replied. For some reason, it felt hard for him to breath.
Beauty clenched at the man's blue shirt tightly as if in pain as she said, "Y-You could have just left me behind, like you did with P-P-Pickles...but you didn't. If you had, you wouldn't be...you wouldn't...oh god, Bobobo!"
"Beauty...are...are you crying?" Bobobo asked in surprise.
Beauty wrapped her arms around his large neck and sobbed loudly. "Bobobo...you made me so happy when we first met. I always...I always believed in you and thought of you as my hero...all those crazy things you do...I don't think I'll ever understand the way your brain works, but I do understand that I love you."
"B-Beauty..." Bobobo gasped, and he tried to lift his arms to hug her, but they were completely numb.
"E-Even though we're going to be seperated," Beauty said, forcing a brave smile through the tears, "I'll always love you...Bobobo. Good-bye."
'G...Good...Good-bye?'
"What are you saying? Am I-" exclaimed Bobobo, confused and frightened now.
Beauty's smile vanished as she replied, "Bobobo...haven't you realized? You were shot through the heart. It's too late to save you..."
Bobobo's eyes widened...and his sunglasses slipped off of his face and hit the ground with a loud crack.
"Beauty!" he cried.
"Bobobo...I'm sorry..." the pink-haired girl said, and she turned her back to him so as not to watch him die.
Slowly, Bobobo found himself losing consciousness. His vision was fading, and an instense chill surrounded him.
'No!' he thought, 'I can't...I can't go yet! I...can't...not...now...'
Before he finally passed, a single name whispered throughout his dying mind:
"Beauty."
The pitter-patter of rain falling in that dusty old alleyway was the only sound now. Even without checking, Beauty knew that it was finally over. All that was left was wait for Don Patch and Heppokomaru to return with the perpetrator...
...so she could tear his heart out for killing the man she loved.
