Sam was one of those weird kids who sat in the back of the class and doodled all over his papers but got all A's. He was that kind of kid. When he got older and became a hunter his doodles were a pastime that evolved into a hobby. And when he met Gabriel, archangel of the lord, he was entranced by his golden eyes. And soon enough he'd filled an entire notebook with eyes. It was a little unsettling but it was a small notebook so he had no trouble keeping it hidden from Dean. Gabriel was the first to find it. His professional art notebook with paintings and oil sketches of penetrating golden eyes. It had pencil and pen and marker and any medium Sam could get his hands on. Gabriel flipped through the pages and pages of art that was beautiful and stunningly realistic and oddly familiar. "Like to draw Sammy?" Gabe snorted as Sam snatched the notebook back. "Whose eyes are those?" Gabriel asked looking genuinely concerned. "You're not cursed to draw creepy eyes now are you?" He laughed uneasily.
"No I'm not cursed." Sam frowned as he flipped to the last page. He'd saved it, left it empty. But now he grabbed a pencil and let his hand flow across the page. This time it wasn't just eyes. He'd drawn them angry and happy and sad and any other emotion or curve. He'd used every medium but never any more than the eyes. But now there was more. He started with, yes you guessed it, the eyes but then they attached to a body and then out of the back grew wings and there was a smirk on the face and nice looking hair and then it was done. He looked at it, held it up to Gabriel and then made some final last minute touches and adjustments before grabbing the colored pencils and setting to work at filling in the color and shadows. Gabriel was standing there looking extremely confused but, at last, when it was finally done Sam ripped it out of the notebook and pushed it into Gabe's hands. Gabriel stared at. It for a long time before a smile plastered itself on his face. "My eyes?" He asked. Sam snorted and nodded. "Have a crush do we, Sammy boy?" Gabriel purred as he slipped closer to Sam.
"I guess." Sam laughed awkwardly.
"That's cool." Gabriel whispered as he kissed Sam. Gently. Sweetly. Hungrily. Lovingly.
