Author's Note:
This is mostly based on the cartoon and not the movie version, and I do not own any of these characters. Also this is my first fan fiction, so i kept the first chapter short just to see how others think of it. That is all and enjoy the show.
Chapter 1
The even Gloomier day
The rain poured down like bullets onto the streets of Peaceful Pines, which have been too peaceful as of lately. A bike splashed through the puddles that carried a girl named Lydia Deetz getting her new school clothes wet, but she didn't care. Her mother warned her beforehand about this from past down pours. She was singing her usual tune on the way back from school, but in a unusual hushed voice. When she got home she quickly said hello to her parents and rushed towards her room.
Lydia closed her door with a sigh and glanced at her oval mirror that was placed upon a set of drawers. Slowly she walked towards it and sat on the stool in front of it. She gazed into her own reflection as her sleek black hair was still dripping wet, and eye makeup running. Lydia thought "I'm surprised it was not tears this time." Her jet black lipstick bolded her frown as she ran through that thought for a moment. "Where did you go?" She said looking at her reflection again. It's been years since she last saw her Best Friend, and even though she's seen herself normal in the mirror for a while now it always felt so empty. Lydia got up and flopped backwards on her bed staring at the ceiling repeating herself "Where did you go?"
she took a deep breath.
"I know I ask this question everyday, but even when I call your name in the way I always have you still don't show up." The teenager paused for a second in her own mumbling thoughts. "Are you waiting for me? Or have you experienced the death for the dead?" She knew neither of those would be true. He always protected her from his own chaos he put her through, and even though he takes things too far she doubted he would go so far to get exorcised. The word exorcism made her shiver as if she was a ghost herself.
She sat up and looked out her window with her beat up skellington curtains. "You would've liked today, a nice rainy day, Perfect for watching horror movies." She quickly tried to get that memory out of her head of what they used to do together to prevent her from getting upset again. Lydia collapsed on her bed and closed her eyes "Where are you Beetlejuice?"
