"Dan. I thought we were filming a day in the life of today." Phil said, entering the living room.
"Hm?" Dan tilted his head, giving a confused look to his friend. It then hit him. He had promised yesterday to Phil that he would find some places to go to for the video. Dan facepalmed and sighed. "I am so sorry, Phil. I… It totally flew over my head."
"It's totally fine. Don't worry about it, I'll film another day." Phil said, walking out of the room. Dan sat up from his sofa crease and rubbed his eyes. Walking over to the window, Dan scoured the street for any place that sounds interesting. His eyes fell on a shop called "Cakes, Cookies, & Sweets Galore". It was painted light blue and a chocolate brown, making it pop out from the colorless London skies.
Dan opened his laptop and searched up the shop. Apparently, it opened a couple days ago, run by a woman from America. "Phil?!" Dan called out, "I found where to go!" Phil re-entered the room and looked at the web page Dan was looking at.
"Cakes, Cookies, & Sweets Galore? Sounds great! Let me grab my vlogging camera and start filming." Phil said, rushing off to grab his camera. Dan went into his bedroom and changed into something more appropriate than his pajamas. As he exited his room, he got a scare. Phil jumped out from out of nowhere and scared Dan.
"J-Jesus Christ, Phil! You scared the shit outta me!" Dan cursed, clutching his heart. Phil just laughed while he held his vlogging camera. "And you recorded it? Wow, Phil. You're giving our fans more gas to add to the fire."
"Sorry, but it was too tempting. Let's get going." Phil said, marching towards the front door. After the walk from their apartment, they were finally at the little bakery. "So, here we are at the shop Dan found. What do they sell here, Dan?" Phil said, panning the camera over towards Dan.
"Um, stuff," Dan said sarcastically, smiling at his roommate. "Let's go in!" He said, dragging Phil in. Phil just laughs and allows his friend to do so.
The second they entered, they froze. It smelt so good that the wave of smells paralyzed them temporarily. It smelled like chocolate and mint in a spiral goodness. The sky blue and mint green walls drew them even farther into the store. Phil pointed to one of the cookies behind the display shelf. "Doesn't it look so good?" Phil said, licking his lips.
"Restrain yourself, Phil. If not, you'll buy out the whole store if you could." Dan said, only saying it out loud so that way the camera could hear.
"Oh, please do. That would be a great sale for us." A voice said, startling both Dan and Phil. Dan turned around and looked down to finally see who was talking to them. The first thing he saw, was dimples.
