Those Little Words
Nikita had been wrong many times in her life – obviously – she was only human after all. She had trusted the wrong people, made the wrong decisions and she had failed only a few hundred times.
But she had never thought she'd wrong in a situation involving a gun. After all she knew how to use a gun to kill, wound or even just scare off people but had never thought had one of the most romantic moments in her life would involve a gun.
On second thoughts, Nikita laughed silently to herself, considering the fact she spent most of her time handling guns, it stood to reason that a gun would play in important part in her life.
Still, hearing Michael's words, watching him grab the gun and run back towards the police station to get her engagement ring, Nikita could honestly say that that had been the most romantic thing that anyone had ever done for her, that although she knew Michael better than anyone else she would never be able to fully understand what made him … him but that she could honestly say that she had never thought it possible to love as much as she loved him.
