As the title suggests, a series of very short and sweet (maybe) chapters about MIT's Secret Santa. Rachel wonders whether purple socks would suit Pete, Janet decides on a bottle of ketchup for Lee, and Kevin has a big surprise for the receiver of his gift.
Secret Santa: Names in a bag
Gill held out the bag to Rachel, "Go on then, Sherlock. First pick. I hope you get Kevin."
Rachel took a square of paper and unfolded it under the desk to find Pete's name scrawled in front of her. She swiped her pen onto the floor so that she could bend down and look at the colour of his socks for inspiration, but his trousers covered them. Was he a purple kind of man? Or did he like the ones with days sewn into them?
"And you, Janet."
Janet checked her name, feeling a little bit like she was back in first school. Lee. Um, a bottle of ketchup?
"Lee," Gill made her way round the table, her glasses sliding slightly down her nose so that she fulfilled the headteacher image even more, "God help us if you get me. I'll end up with fluorescent pink bangles or something."
"Ungrateful, Ma'am." He took a name. Kevin. Oh, God.
Pete wrinkled his nose as he picked Janet, but it could've been worse, he supposed. She'd be easily satisfied with a bar of chocolate.
Mitch struggled to be pleased that he'd picked Gill. He couldn't imagine that ending very well; whatever he chose would no doubt be wrong. Did he have an old bottle of wine in his garage somewhere? His wife wouldn't notice if it disappeared.
"Aw, Ma'am, you can't pick before me," Kevin moaned.
Gill delved a hand into the bag and chose a scrap of paper. Whoever had folded them had made this one smaller than the rest. Ah, Mitch. Could've been worse. Maybe.
Kevin took the final name from the bag, and smiled.

Just a summary, as much for me in later chapters as for any of you. Rachel has Pete; Janet has Lee; Lee has Kevin; Pete has Janet; Mitch has Gill; Gill has Mitch; Kevin has Rachel
Reviews would make me happy;D
