Summary: The pregnancy test said
"positive".
Notes: Post ep/preview for what happens next.
This is SHORT, 287 words. Kind of like a triple-drabble, but I'm
just speculating what happens after Sam says "I'm pregnant..." in
the preview spot.
"I'm pregnant," said Sam as she looked at the test she had saved from the previous day.
"What?" said Jack. He had dealt with this before with his last serious girlfriend.
"I'm pregnant," she said again. She sniffed, and tried to hold it together.
Jack came around behind her and wrapped his arms around her middle. He kissed the side of her neck and whispered in her ear, "Everything will be just fine. I love you."
Just then, Sam burst into tears. She
brought her hands to her face to hide them. Jack was still behind
her, holding her in a hug. "Honey, you'll be fine."
"But..." she drew in a long and
shaky breath, "... I'm not ready for this."
"We made a commitment to each other,"
he fingered the ring on her pinky. It was kind of high-school, but
he gave her a promise ring.
"I..."
"Honey, you will be fine," he said
in his strong voice.
She turned around in his arms and buried her head in his shoulder. He tightened his hug on her.
They stood like that for a while. Then
he said, "I'll love you, no matter what."
"You promise?"
"Yes. I will love you, no matter
what."
