They kept him in a white room.

He couldn't remember how he got here but he knows how– they told him. It was a hit and run case, resulting in crushed legs and a cracked skull.

He tried to remember.

He couldn't remember his name – They called him John Doe instead.

He couldn't remember, but when he closed his eyes, somewhere between sleep and consciousness, he'd recall a tall man with floppy hair and pleading eyes calling him another name.

But, was he real? Or was he a memory his mind made up to fill in the empty spaces and gaps?

One day, the man came bursting into the room, all floppy hair and pleading eyes with big hands that landed on his shoulders.

He kept saying "Dean! Dean!" but John didn't know who Dean was. The man's eyes were asking, pleading, "Oh please, remember. Remember you. Remember me."

John couldn't deny those eyes. "Looks like a kicked puppy" was a faint thought in his head.

He tried to remember but there was only nothing.

"Dean, it's me, Sam." Nothing. Nothing nothing nothing.

The man's hands felt tense.

"Please, Dean. It's me, your Sammy."

Then everything fell back into place.

This is a day short of being a week late.

Alas, things (namely, school) have been keeping me busy and a little tired.

The idiom is "John Doe," at least according to wiktionary it is.

There's a lot of ooc-ness, especially with the "your Sammy." I doubt Sam would ever say anything like that.
