"No, he said we would have to kill," I say back, as I start to take my kunai out of my back pouch so I can just effortlessly slit the throat of my victim. But as I kneel down to put the blade closer to my victim's vital vein, he awakes, eyes flying open and staring at me, scared.
"As if seeing a monster?" I think,
"But we are," my black side reminds me in his cold, blunt voice. I frown as I see my black side hand go for the man's throat and start to cut the man's air off, pulling him up while doing so. He squirms, shaking and kicking, while trying to pull away the hand from his throat. Soon I see him go limp from the lack of oxygen. My stomach was empty; it had been a week since my last meal, yet I've had no time to eat. With the task of sealing the nine demons, we've only sealed two. My body is yelling for food.
"We should eat it." My black side thoughts, linger in my mind.
"Yes, we should." I say, as my black side drops the unconscious man. My mouth fully opens showing my sharp, bleached, white teeth, stained with dried blood and I cannot help but smile.
