Chapter 1: The Return
Today was a very important day, it was my 16th birthday. I didn't know at the time that it would be the worst, most destructive birthday of my life. At the mansion Sadie, Uncle Amos, and I were eating dinner on the patio. No one was talking much, well everyone except Khufu who was running around with Hot Cheetos in his hand and his tongue sticking out. It was pretty hilarious watching Khufu experiencing Hot Cheetos for the first time, until he jumped into the pool with Philip of Macedonia. Sadie screamed [yes Sadie you did don't keep saying that I am lying the truth does hurt.] Anyways she was running around screaming, Uncle Amos said "Its OK Sadie look". It was true Khufu was climbing out of the pool unhurt but still going crazy. Philip of Macedonia just looked annoyed. I was laughing my head off, Sadie was totally freaking out her face was priceless. She punched me in the arm. Then at the same time Sadie and I doubled over, My eye of Horus amulet was burning against my neck. I have had this feeling before, and believe me I was mad. Happy birthday, Horus said in my head. "Get out!" I screamed.
Sorry but at the moment I was going crazy, I mean you probably would be too, if you had a five thousand year old god trapped in your head. Again.
I was overreacting a little bit, but at least I wasn't completely flipping out like Sadie. Uncle Amos literally had to put a sleeping spell on her to make her stop. That is pretty bad. Now that Horus was back in my head though, I had a pretty unusual thought fogging every thing else up in my mind.
