"If you want me to save the world then at the very least I'll do it looking fabulous." Was Harry's only comment to the reporters that had accosted him on his first public appearance sporting the new look.
There was outcry at the fact Harry Potter now wore dresses and jewellery still, but the thing which astounded most everyone was the pair of brilliant black wings which lay folded against his back demurely.
Draco stared at the prophets cover, unable to take his eyes off the slim tall figure that Harry Potter had become since the defeat of Voldemort mere days before. The messy raven-hair the saviour had always had was now longer, falling in controlled ringlets; His eyes had changed to a bright blue; his height had increased by about a foot if one ignored the stilettos he was now wearing and he had grown a pair of midnight black wings. Even as he scanned the article which speculated on the changes, Malfoy understood that some magical creature inheritance had been awakened by the final battle, likely that of water or midnight fey due to the colours he now displayed.

Harry had expected the howlers, fan-mail and demands which came after his appearance with his new look. He had even anticipated the interview requests and attempts to spy on him made by the press and fans alike. What he hadn't expected was the regal eagle owl of the Malfoy heir to swoop into his house and follow him around until he accepted the letter. What he didn't expect was for Draco Malfoy to hold any information upon what his inheritance actually was. But, expected or otherwise, that was what the letter held as he read through it:
"Dear Harry Potter,
I'm enjoying your new look and thought you might not know completely just yet what you have become since the creature inheritance was awakened in you.
From the books in our library and ministry records it appears this inheritance cannot be from your fathers line, meaning of course, that your mother is likely descended from a line of squibs who at some point mated with a member of the fey if I am correct in recognising the characteristics.
You appear to be either a water fey or a midnight fey, although to be precise we would have to cast a genealogy spell, which I could cast on you if you so wish.
Please send a reply with Artemis if you wish to meet.
With Regards
Draco Malfoy"
The grin on Harry's face at having some honest help from somebody other than Hermione's frantic book searching of books for what he might be, or Ron's declarations of Harry never being normal, was as wide as it could be as he wrote out a reply agreeing to having the spell cast and asking when a good time would be for Draco.
