Ohkay, hello people. I got bored, so here's some college au Peggy headcanons. Enjoy?
-Peggy had a dog and it was named after a fruit, like Apple or Peach.
-She swore off the fancy stuff and just wore yellow comfortable clothes.
-Always let her sisters copy her homework, but she was reluctant with the hamilsquad. She said they should be more responsible, but they always got her answers in the end.
-She totally got dared to dress like Heather McNamara for a month or so. She did it, and sang Lifeboat (because of the dare, and not because she wanted to, obviously).
-Would try and throw a party for Halloween every year, sometimes she would take children of her older friends trick-or-treating.
-A good student, turned in stuff on time.
-Up for literally anything.
-Optimistic and sweet, loved everyone.
-Was obsessed with a children's book series at one point.
-Really emotional, cries over every character death in the books she reads.
-If you hurt her, even Eliza would turn violent.
-But no one hurt her badly enough, she was too sweet.
-Didn't really date anyone.
-All potential dates of her friends' had to pass a personality test.
-Was really close friends with Maria Reynolds.
-Got Maria a pet cat.
-She gave Eliza a bird for some strange reason.
-Eliza kept the bird and she was eternally grateful.
-Set up a secret Santa every year without fail.
-Would end up getting everyone a gift even though "No Peggy, that's not how this works, you set this up!"
-Had a study group on the library and they'd meet every Friday.
-Got really depressed all of the sudden and no one really knew why until they found out about Maria's relationship with James Reynolds.
-Blamed herself for that train wreck.
-Maria told Peggy first.
-Seems outgoing but underneath is a terrified girl who clings to her pillow and cries. (That's a bit extreme, but it was probably true before she met Maria and the Hamilsquad.)
-She only gets close with you if you prove yourself.
-For example, Maria helped Peggy up after she had fallen.
-It's small, but it has to happen.
-Requested to go by Margarita Schuyler one year.
-We don't speak of that year. It died after a month. Everyone just called her Peggy, and there was no different.
-Is everyone's go to 'I had a dream about my abusive childhood and I need help' person.
-At least one of her friends is over every day.
-Reads a lot.
-Like more than a healthy person should.
-She doesn't curse at all.
-Except maybe when someone messes with her friends.
-She's sweet and nice but oh no, there's a Peggy inside of Peggy that no one wants to see.
-Tried to set up a therapy booth one day.
-She called it "Shine a Light" and would help anyone for free.
