Chapter one: Dreams

" W-where am ? This isn't my chambers."

" You should know Luna you were trapped here for over a thousand years."

That voice I knew too well. I knew who it was but I was to afraid to admit it.

" Come out shadow show yourself!"

" Oh Luna I am no shadow you should know this I... am your Nightmare."

" Nooooooooooooo!"

I awoke for the 'dream' as some would call it. This was no dream it was a..a...a Nightmare. It had been the same one for the last three weeks ever since the Summer Sun Celebration was planned. Three years to the day since I was brought back from the Nightmare. I watched as the sun started to come up I was going to have tell somepony about these... were these dreams happening all of a sudden they have never happened before.

"*Knock* Luna I have to talk to you about something will you come out?"

" Yes dear sister I will be out there in a moment."

I put my crown on and went to talk to my sister.

" I am worried about you sister you have been having bad dreams every night scene the Celebration was planned. Are you ok?"

" yes dear sister everypony has bad dreams."

" Yes of course I am sorry I just..."

" I know dear sister you worry every Summer Sun Celebration about me scene it was my...undoing."

" How did you? I mean..."

" Sister I can step inside your dreams and it is not so hard to tell. I need more rest sister. Is that all you wished to speak about?"

" Yes."

" Ok I will see you later my sister."

I went to my chambers hoping to get some sort of sleep or some sort of rest. I closed my eyes and did fall asleep but with sleep came the nightmare at full force. I was tossing and turning,breathing heavily, and wincing as I if was in pain. I looked at her and she looked at me in hers were anger in mine were fear.

" Still fighting Luna?"

"Yes. I will fight you until my last breath is gone you will not gain control of me."

" Oh Luna Luna Luna you know I have already started. You will give me control if I have to tear it from you."

" NO!"

" I am so close Luna soon I will be in control of you while you sit in this black void powerless to stop me."

How can I have not seen the signs she was returning she was growing stronger now. I was going to lose control but I was not going down without a fight. As soon as I was in attack position she disappeared and reappeared behind me. I could feel her darkness slipping into my heart as she pushed it forcingly forward.

" AHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh NOOOOOO!"

I could feel her growing more powerful as I grew weaker losing control. I could feel myself growing to Celestia height my fur shifting color from blue to black, My teeth sharpened and my wings grew longer and pointed. I was loosing this battle and was going to be consumed. No matter what happened I still fought I did not care if I knew I was not going to win I was going to fight until I couldn't.

My eyes started changing but as soon as they did something or rather someone blasted me. I was happy but angry at the same time but it was not Celestia's magic I saw it was... Twilight Sparkle?
