One day there were 2 boys called Michael and Edward (Mickey and Eddie) and they were both brothers and one day they had their 10th birthday and wanted a pokemon.
"Mum can I go get a pokemon please" said Mickey.
"Yes you can," she turned to Eddie and said "Do you want a pokemon Eddie?"
"What's a pokemon mum? asked Eddie.
"Come with me and Mickey and I'll show you." said mum.
"Ok mummy," said Eddie and all together they all went to the professor's lab and Mickey excitedly asked if they could get a pokemon
"Sure," said Professor Linda. "But I only have one pokemon, so who wants it?
"ME," shouted Mickey.
"Ok here you go." said Linda. "Wait here I want to get you something."
Linda goes upstairs and sees people taking the pokedex that she was going to give to Mickey.
"Leave.. it.. alone.. now." Linda said.
"If you want it you have to battle me for it." said the grunt.
"Fine, go Squirte and use Bubble," shouted Linda
"Come on out Poochyena and use Bite."
Poochyena opened its mouth and bit Squirtle and Squirtle fainted.
"Come back Poochyena," said the grunt and left with the pokedex.
"Oh no." he said and ran downstairs.
"Mickey, I need you to help me with something ok because I was going to give you a pokedex but someone stole it and I need your help to get it ok, take this pokemon and catch a pokemon with this pokeball and give it to Eddie and then both of you train up your pokemon until they both evolve and then come back to me ok." said Linda.
"Ok Linda," said Mickey and Eddie and they all go off.
The boys go to Route 2.
"Come on Eddie we need to get you a pokemon," said Mickey.
"I'm coming jeez." Eddie said, annoyed Eddie froze "shh."
"Come..."
"SHH. Do you hear that."
Both of them froze and they heard something so they go to check it out.
"What is that Mickey?"
"I dont know but I'll try catch it. GO FENNEKIN AND USE SCRATCH."
A cute white and orange pokemon pops out of the pokeball and gets its claws out and scratches the fletchling. SCRATCH.
"Use the pokeball Mickey, quick." Eddie says.
Mickey gets a pokeball out and throws it at the Fletchling...
