Prompt: I got distracted by you when I was getting on the bus and then the bus started and I fell in your lap. AU Naruhina

He was running late.

His stupid alarm clock didn't go off for some reason this morning. Luckily he did at least get up out of habit at around the same time he usually got up. But it was definitely late.

Now he was running around the city trying to get to the bus stop before the bus left. The bus came every 15 minutes so he would have to wait for 15 minutes before the next bus came, which would make him even more late to his job.
When he finally caught sight of the bus stop, he saw that the bus was about to leave.

"WAIT! WAIT FOR ME –TTEBAYO!"

By some miracle or just plain luck, the bus driver saw him waving frantically and how he was running towards the bus, through the side mirror, and stopped. Naruto got on the bus and breathlessly thanked the man for waiting.

He put his hands on his knees as he panted, trying to get his breath back. He straightened up and looked around for an open seat. The seats were in twos. He frowned, most seats were taken, just a few left, which meant he would have to sit next to a stranger.

As he looked around he became entranced by an angelic woman sitting alone and staring out the window. She had wide lavender pupil-less eyes with a button nose and a round face. Her straight hair was indigo and shined lavender in the sunlight. It looked so silky. His eyes wandered down and a little, a red hue spread across his cheeks after seeing her body. Even though she was wearing baggy clothes, he can tell that she had big assets and all the curves in the right places. 'Eyes up, you pervert! You don't want to become like ero-sennin now do you?!' Either way, the name that he had described her as, suited her. She looked so angelic, just breathtakingly beautiful.

He was brought out of his reverie when suddenly the bus started moving. He tried to keep his balance but to no avail. He fell face first into something warm and squishy, like a pillow. He realized it was someone's lap, and a woman's at that. He was ready to apologize, god how embarrassed he was, when his eyes met wide lavender ones. Yes the same woman he was ogling. She was now looking at him with wide eyes and he was entranced by her yet again. But the growing blush on her face reminded him that he was still pretty much on her lap, or at least close.

He immediately shot up but his head hit the bar and he winced. He rubbed his head and couldn't help but think that he was already making a fool of himself in front of the beauty in front of him.

"I'm really sorry for um, falling into your lap." He sheepishly said to her, still rubbing at his head.

She shook her head and looked at him in concern. She spoke up,"Are you ok? I mean you hit your head pretty hard." Her voice was added to the list of things that made her angelic.

"Ah yea, I'm fine. But I'm still very sorry for that."

"It's ok. As long as your fine, that's all that matters."

He blushed a bit at her statement. "Mind if I sit here?" He inquired.

"Oh, of course you can sit here."

He sat down and asked,"So uh, what's your name?

She pleasantly smiled at him as she replied,"My name is Hinata. Hinata Hyuga."

'It suits her. And wow what a lovely name.'

"Nice to meet you, Hinata. I'm Naruto Uzumaki."

As they continued talking about anything that came to mind, Naruto couldn't help but think that this was definitely a start of something new.
