Author's Note: Here's my first 10 themes fic, and I dedicate it to Clovis and Kaguya. I was astonished not to find anything on this pairing, since it does almost seem possible if given the circumstances. Do not ask how this came to my mind, the image of Clovis making Kaguya's portrait while she stands in her favorite pose comes to my mind from time to time. And recently writing a chapter full of Clovis's thoughts and coming across another fanfic about Clovis inspired me to actually write this fluff) I tried to make it in-character as much as possible, I do see these characters this way.
Please take notice that it takes place in slightly AU, where Clovis stays alive but relinquish his title as Viceroy and Third Prince.

Oriental Flower.
1. Encounter.
Choosing a lake-house as his new residence, Clovis had never expected to meet such a charming young lady. His new neighbour shared his feelings.
2. Revelations.
Her sharp tongue and rebels' headquarters in the basement came as lovely little additions.
3. Tea Party.
Accepting her invitation he wasn't expecting to take part in a traditional tea ceremony. He was astonished how beautiful she looked in her kimono.
4. Conviction.
She was sure she couldn't ever come to like anything in this foolish narcissistic and extremely childish person. Was it the way he mixed pretentious speeches with sarcastic remarks?
5. Oriental Magic.
Maybe she was a sorceress to cast a spell on him like that, he wondered as he couldn't take his eyes off her. She was arranging an ikebana.
6. Portrait.
He knew he had to draw her standing with her fingers crossed and catch that warm-hearted image mismatching the shrewd look in her eyes. The problem was, he felt like these piercing eyes were laughing at his attempts to do so. All the time.
7. Fireflies.
Some consider life to be an album of spectacular memories. Have you ever seen hundreds of little nimble torches illuminating the lake? They did.
8. Raindrops.
It was while thousands of raindrops were pattering on the pane the idea came to her. Maybe he wasn't stupid at all, just had never been really interested in anything. His eyes were sparking now with childish enthusiasm as he was telling her his projects for the grand amusement park. He used some profitable ideas. In other words, she wanted to visit the place already.
9. Flowers.
She was pleasantly surprised when receiving a special invitation to the opening of the Clovisland. But she wondered why it had to be a helicopter until she realized that the pretentious building in the very center indeed was a gigantic lily decorated with myriad of small ones planted on the celling. After all, she's never told him it was her favorite flower.
10. Conjurers.
Narcissistic artist and crafty politician. Britannia's Ex-Prince and Ex-Japan's Noble Lady. The public would love that. And there are ceaselessly many ways to use this veneration for their personal little goals.

P.S. On the language of flowers White Lily means Majesty, Purity, Sweetness and tells the message of time spent with the person being heavenly. Lily (fleur-de-lis) is also the flower of French Royal Family.
