Prologue
Poseidon's POV
I watched as my son slept in his cot. He was the most wonderful thing that had happened to me in my existence aside from my only other son Percy. He had sea green eyes and black hair that resembled mine perfectly.
Being the lord of the seas, I had started raising him in my under water palace when his mother had died giving birth to him, but sadly, Zeus had found out and forced me to give him to a mortal family until he was old enough to go to camp half-blood.
I contemplated giving him to sally, and then changed my mind. Having two children of Poseidon living under one roof would surely attract a lot of monsters so I decided to settle for another family in Manhattan. The Da Vinci's.
I had named him Valentino. It was a suggestion from Aphrodite due to his birth on Valentine day. I had left him by their front door with a note
Take care of my son for me,
Never let him out of your sight,
Tell him that his father always loved him
And always tell him that he is destined for great things.
It had said. I had watched as a petite Latino woman opened the door, read the note and pick the child, cradling him in her arms like her own. I smiled. They had raised him like their own.
He was going to have to choose between two different worlds when he got older.
I sighed and teleported to Olympus, Zeus had called me for a meeting. He had probably changed his mind about sparing my child.
I found him sitting on his throne looking bored. He sat upright as I entered the throne room.
"Ah brother, have you done what I asked" he was probably asking about his son.
"Yes, I did that two months ago" His face fell. He probably wanted to scold me on how we weren't allowed to stay with our Demigod children.
"Ok then, you may go" he said looking dejected.
I left.
How did you guys like it. For all of you who didn't like it, don't worry, it gets interesting. REVIEW! REVIEW! REVIEW!
