As Gilbert fell to his knees before him, the burden of memories long gone crashing upon his shoulders, Vincent smiled. Reaching out and wrapping his arms around him, he begins to think that this was alright-- no, that this was better.

"I am fine... with just being able to see my brother."

His brother, his precious older brother. Alive, not covered in blood, and without the memories of that girl, his brother that he loved, and his brother who loved--

"Vincent, there is something... that I want to ask you."

...him...

'He doesn't remember.'

is soon followed by

'He doesn't want to remember.'
