World 1-6
Somewhere, in the not so distant future, the TARDIS was floating in the vortex. No running from danger today. There were four occupants in one of the living rooms that had a huge flat screen telly, and the occupants were enjoying themselves by playing a game on the Wii Nintendo. Rose was going through a Wii Nintendo phase. She got them the game last time she went home to see her mother. This is where our story begins...
"NO! I just died! Now I only have the two lives left!" Captain Jack Harkness cried out from his spot on the floor. He sat there, cross legged. His trusted jacket thrown carelessly on the floor several feet from him. Jack was surrounded by drinks, snacks, and little blue chips that made no crunching sounds when you ate them.
"JACK! I will throw you out of the TARDIS and into the nearest sun if you even think about getting my new controllers greasy!" The Doctor suddenly yelled. While his head was turned to Jack, Rose Tyler and Jenny (the "generated anomaly") quickly wiped their hands on their jeans to get rid of the chip grease that was going to ruin the new controllers. Rose glanced up at the Doctor, " Oi! Since when does my stuff belong to you?"
"But Dad," Jenny started, steering the conversation away from ruined controllers, "He'll get five more lives if he dies. Only, not if we all die at once."
The Doctor quickly switched his good nature anger to Jenny, who was sitting on the floor at the other end of the huge couch. She was surrounded by food wrappers, sweets, candy, and bananas. "I guess we would have found that out if two certain girls hadn't started the game without – look out!"
Four pairs of eyes snapped back to the screen as Luigi came floating down in his Propeller Suit, the Blue Toad quickly bubbled; Mario jumped on two Goombas and accidentally knocked the Yellow Toad off the edge where it lost a life.
"You should have bubbled, mate." said Rose, who never had the chance to play a Mario game in her life. Rose was incredibly happy to be sitting on this huge comfortable couch. She had three of her favorite people gathered around her. Not to mention a huge pink fluffy blanket surrounding her, and chips within reach. Now to make sure those bananas stay away from her.
"You don't always need to bubble," Jenny stated with her mouth full of green candy, swinging her head side to side so her pony tail swung back and forth.
"Well apparently you did in this case." Rose responded airily, shaking her Wii mote. She was trying to get close to another player so she could pop the bubble her Blue Toad character was in.
The Doctor shook his head in frustration. "We're not even to the castle yet! I can't have my daughter dying on us every other minute." "But you pushed me!" Jenny pouted and threw something that looked like a chocolate cookie at her father.
"Stop bickering. We have to rescue the damn Princess Peach. Who has gotten herself captured again. She's also whom I should capture for myself. " Jack said winking at Jenny, who laughed at Jack, thus caused him to lose his power up. "Damn!"
"Hold on, I think I am getting the hang of this game-" Rose said as her little Blue Toad jumped from the ground to the final flag.
Rose sank back into the couch with a smug look on her face. Three pairs of eyes turned and glared at her. On the screen, Mario was in the frozen in mid air, the Yellow Toad was jumping for the pole, and Luigi was dying.
The little Blue Toad was celebrating at winning the level, and the words "COURSE CLEARED" flashed on the screen.
"Let's-a-go!" Rose suddenly said loudly, imitating her Blue Toad. The Doctor sighed heavily as they went into the next level, ready for more adventures.
