Hot,Warm and Cold

Hot

This feeling
Whenever your eyes
sought and met mine
across the room

Warm
This emotion
as my ears perceive
your beautiful
melodious voice
and sweet laughter

Cold
This enveloping sensation
numbs my heart
fills my being with turmoil
at the devastating thought of losing you

I strive to understand
the reason why
I had felt this way
the excitement as I saw you
the contentment just by listening to you
the despair at the thought of losing you
At last I knew why
Because
all of this
stems from one word

LOVE.
