Sakura's five in this. Au. I do not own any of the naruto characters
I poured the box of store bought 'Hello Kitty' valentine cards onto the kitchen table and started to write my classmates names onto them. After I finished I picked up a single, red sheet of paper, folding it carefully so that the sides where even and cutting it into a heart. Then, as neatly as I could I wrote on the card "To: Sasuke Kun, Love: Sakura" and after an hour of decorating the cover of the card with stickers and carfully gluing pasta around the sides, it was finished.
I put my valentine cards into my book bag, except for Sasuke's card, which I laid on top of my book bag encase it got wrinkled inside, before going to bed.
The next morning I woke up happy that I could give my card to Sasuke, and a little scared that he wouldn't like it.
My mom cooked me some breakfast before walking me to the bus stop. I sat next to Ino, like I usually do on the bus, and we talked until we got off.
I ran into the school with Sasuke's valentine in my hand, looking for Sasuke. I saw Hinata giving a card to Naruto before running away as fast as she could, Lee proclaiming his love to Tenten and Ino giving Shikamaru a flower.
I finally found him surrounded by a bunch of girls (and the occasional boy) handing him valentines. I'll wait, I though, until everybody else is finished. While waiting I gave out the rest of my valentine cards.
Once the crowd died down I walked up to Sasuke, brushing scarlet with his valentine held out in my hand. "Here, Sasuke kun, happy valentines day!" I said, looking at my feet.
I glanced up to see a slight smile on Sasuke's face "thanks, Sakura chan."
That day, Sasuke returned from school and laid the pile of valentines on the counter in the kitchen. Sakura's card stood out against all the other store bought cards.
"That's a nice one," his mother commented, picking up the homemade valentine from the pile.
"Sakura Haruno made it" Sasuke told his mother as he observed the pasta glued to the heart shaped card "it must have taken a while."
Sasuke then turned away and walking towards his room with the card in his hand, grinning the whole way.
