A boy finds a sapphire stone.

But a dragon egg, that hatched.
The boy touched the baby dragon,
And became her chosen rider.
He kept her a secret until one day,
When people came looking for him.
He left town with the storyteller Brom,
And started his training to be a rider.
He soon learned that Brom was a rider,
But his dragon was slain by Morzan.
The boy saves a girl from the clutches of Durza,
But Broms' life was taken in the process.
After Broms' death he was joined by Murtagh,
Who proved his loyalty to him in many ways.
They reached the Varden and protected them,
He fought and killed Durza the shade.
When he left the Varden he headed for Ellesmera,
Deep within Du Weldenvarden.
To finish his training with Oromis and Glaedr,
And prepare to fight the empire.
He became an elf by a gift from the dragons,
And became even more powerful.
A dream stare made him see the truth,
The Varden needed his help.
He flew for days straight to complete their journey,
Promising to return to Ellesmera.
The battle raged on and on for days,
Against one-hundred thousand of the kings men.
He fought a dragon and his rider,
And found out Murtagh to be his brother.
His brother let him go and told him his story,
And how he got under the King's control.
He found out that he was the youngest son of Morzan,
The rider who betrayed the riders to Galbatorix.
His sword stolen but the Varden prevailed,
