The shocked look on Leonard, when Jim grabbed his face was not because of the abnormally large hands, but because he had actually for a fraction of a second believed Jim would kiss him there in the middle of all that chaos.
And while Jim again rushed away Leonard had to take a second to calm his rushing heart.
