Broken

Dear Mai, I'm sorry that you had to find out this way, but I'm leaving.

It all ended with a stupid letter. A stupid letter written by a stupid boy. A stupid boy that I was naïve enough to trust. A million questions flooded my brain and it took all of the courage I had left just to piece myself back together again. Why would he do this to me? How could he do this to me? Why me? I gave him everything. I thought I actually knew him.
I was dead wrong.
I guess he never really loved me after all. But, I loved him all along. I guess I meant absolutely nothing to him. But, he meant absolutely everything to me. He'll be fine without me, I just know it. There's probably some other girl by now, someone better. Maybe that's why he left in the first place, so that he could be with his new lover.
What did I do wrong?
What did I do to deserve this?
Silly me, I trusted him and now I'm broken.
