I don't own The Phantom of the Opera

The Phantom tied a noose around Raoul's neck and looped it around the gate and held it in his hands. Murder was not beneath him. His cruel past has corrupted his mind. He had also been blinded by anger, hate, and jealousy. Christine was his. And who was this fool that was going to take her from him?

"Order your fine horses now! Raise up your hands to the level of your eyes! Nothing can save you now, except perhaps Christine."

Christine saw a dagger on a table and grabbed it. She grabbed a clump of her dress and hid the dagger in it. Anything to stop this monster!

The Phantom looked at her and began to walk towards her through the water. Obviously he could now earn the title "MAD MAN" now, eh? Love can really corrupt you. It can turn a genius into madness just like that. *snaps*

"Start a new life with me or send your lover to his death! This is the choice! This is the point of no return!"

The Phantom has officially lost it.

Somber, pity, and sorrow read across Christine's perfect, pale face.

"The tear I might have shed for you dark fate, grow cold and turn to tears of HATE!"

Christine looked to Raoul.

"Christine, forgive me." Raoul pleaded.

"So do you end your days with me? Or do you send him to his grave?"

"Why make her life to you to save me?"

Raoul did have a point. And no matter the choice, someone lost someone. Love triangles suck ass!

Christine had truly passed the point of no return. Or has she?

"I gave you my mind blindly." Christine reminded the Phantom.

"You try my patience. Make your choice." The phantom demanded.

Christine gripped the dagger hidden in her dress as she made her way through the water. For a moment, the Phantom had lost hope. But then regained it.

"Pitiful creature of darkness, what kind of life have you known? God gave me courage to show you, you are not alone!"

Then their lips met. Such a sweet and tender moment. The first act of true love the Phantom had ever gotten and shown. It would also be his last. Yet, this kiss almost made Christine reconsider what she was about to do. But she soon snapped out of it. She let go of the clump of her dress, revealing the dagger and thrusted it into the Phantom's stomach. Christine pulled away from the kiss.

"I pity you." Christine whispered.

She watched as the Phantom slid back into the water and died.
