Hello Sherlock fans! This is my first Sherlock fanfiction and yes, it's going to be a short one-shot. Hope you like it!

"Very clever."

Two words appeared on the screen as I drew out my phone from my coat pocket, standing in the busy streets of London as I solved the latest case that was brought to me by a client. It was an easy case, not much of a challenge. I found out who the culprit was before the day was over and now, I am staring at this text message sent from an unknown number, wondering why this person would send such a text and why me?

I may be a self-employed consulting detective but due to my flatmate and colleague, Dr. John Watson's blog, a collection of posts of the cases that we have worked on together, I have gained a immense amount of fame here in the city of London. Who would've thought that one measly little blog could gain so much attention? Anyway, enough about me, let's return to deciphering this mysterious text message. I deducted that the person sent the message via an unlisted number is because he/she wishes to remain anonymous, which means that said person enjoys operating from the shadows like most criminal masterminds, if you can even call them that, out there and the short message comes across as either envious, amazed or sarcastic given that the phrase can be spoken in either tone.

The first possible person that I thought of was James Moriarty, my so-called "arch nemesis". Then I thought that if he wanted to screw me over, for lack of a better phrase, he would've done it in a more dramatic way like he always does. "Predictable." I muttered under my breath while rolling my eyes. If it's not Moriarty, then who could it possibly be? Just as I was about to search my Mind Palace for answers, I had reached the steps of my home, 221 B Baker Street. Perhaps John can help me deduce who the mystery sender is.

The rest, dear readers, I will leave to your vast imaginations. Reviews are welcome and flames are not!
