The Matrix Rebellion
'What if the entire human race woke with Neo after he took the red pill? Would the string of events be different?'
"Now, will you take the red pill… or the blue pill?"
Neo reached his hand for the red pill, but Morpheus made him still, telling him that there was no turning back, but Neo plucked the little red pill from the man's palm and grabbed the glass of water on the table next to him. He didn't know exactly what would happen once he took this pill but he did know that it was his decision and he was ready for the consequences of it. He placed the pill in his mouth and drank from the glass.
Everything else happened in a blur.
Suddenly, Neo woke, as if he had been sleeping for a lifetime, with a loud, harsh intake of air. He floundered around in the strange liquid around him, not understanding what was going on, why he was here, what had happened. But his thoughts were interrupted by others waking around him, going through the same disorienting waking as he had. There were millions of humans coming to consciousness for the first time in the real world.
Neo was The One. The One that would bring forth the rebellion and would be the savior of us all, to unite the human race to fight against the machines.
