Ok, so despite never playing or watching a playthrough of FF14 I got kinda inspired by Sophia's Theme and here we are I guess.

Equilibrium

She had nothing. She was alone and no one could console her. They had left, but not of their own accord. She wanted to scream, yell, break if it meant them returning to her. All she had left now were broken memories and events longs past. What she wouldn't give to return to those times. All that accompanied her silent musings now was her own quiet breathing. Quietly praying, she slumped down against a tree trunk.

A heartbeat without harmony...

A voice shuddered it's way in her mind. She looked around, desperate to find the source - but to no avail. It was soft, delicate even, almost silent. It was a miracle she even heard it. Although that voice had seemingly disappeared now.

...is a moonlight without dark.

She jumped up again. She wasn't alone. She hadn't gone instance. Or maybe she had - but there was no mistaking it. Someone had heard her pleas. A nameless entity - a god perhaps?

The heart seeketh equilibrium.

Someone was helping her. Just for a moment she had hope. Hope that something was going to appear and help her, but there was not a person in sight. She looked up to the clear blue sky.

'Equilibrium.' She mused to herself.

With balance will your worries part.

...Balance. That was what she was so desperately seeking.

So still this broken memory...

A soft breeze accompanied the white cloth that was draped over the girl, hanging precariously off the edge of the cliff.

...and therewith shoulder there

She gaze into the cluster of trees behind her before putting her back to the cliffs edge. A large white cloth was wrapped around her neatly - a knife in her right hand. She raised it to her chest.

One last step only leaving...

drip

drip

drip

Crimson soaked through the pure white cloth, the sudden impact causing the girl to stumble back - off the edge of the cliff. She stretched out her arms, a serene smile on her face.

...and empty hearth down by the sea

This was the end of Chizuru Yukimura

An empty hearth down by the sea...
