James rose from bed and yawned. He looked at the alarm clock. 9:00. James turned around, hoping to see his boyfriend sleeping peacfully beside him, but the bed was empty. James was puzzled. Where could Carlos be? James wondered. James shrugged and stepped out of bed. He automatically went ot the bathroom to get his lucky comb. There it was, on the bathroom counter. But, it was sitting on a piece of note book paper. James picked it up curiously.

1. Your hair. It's beautiful and it smells nice, even when you wake up and it's all messed up.

3. You think I'm beautiful even without man spray and cool clothes.

James chuckled. Not just because Carlos' reasons were so cute and sweet, but because he that last one was so true. And James knew Carlos was about to pop out from somewhere. James looked around, walking around the room looking under pillows. Nowhere to be seen.

"Looking for me?" he heard a playful little voice ask.

James whirled around and smiled, seeing Carlos sitting cross legged on the drawer set in the closet. "You little trickster. I knew you were lying when you said 'some kind of errand.' "

Carlos giggled and hopped off of the drawers. He took a step towards James and wrapped his arms around his neck.

"And I forgot number 31." Carlos said, grinning at James.

"What's that?"

Carlos leaned closer. "This."

Carlos stepped even closer and crashed their lips together. They stayed like that for a minute, before Carlos pulled back. Before James could protest, Carlos ran away to a new hiding spot.

"Catch me if you can!"
