I opened my eyes and stared at nothing, as I debated whether to do it or not.
"Hey…Can I talk to you?" was my question, and you just nodded and said "Yeah…sure."
I stood there, staring down at the dark abyss in front of me.
I nervously shuffled my foot in the dirt at your questioning expression as I prepared to tell you.
I sighed as the cool breeze blew my hair, and pressed against my skin as if it was trying to tell me not to do it…not to jump.
I took in a breath and said "I like you…way more than I should…"
I slowly and hesitantly took a step forward, getting closer and closer to jumping.
I watched as your eyes went wind as I pressed my lips against yours in a quick, but gentle kiss.
I smiled lightly at the memory as I began to lean forward…began to fall.
I looked away and muttered a small "Sorry" after I pulled away. You also looked away and said "It's…alright…"
As I began to fall, I heard you scream "NO!"
"Sorry Kanda, but, I just don't like you…like that."
I smirked as the wind hit my face, and rain began to fall.
I felt as if I died when I heard those words, but I didn't let it show.
I heard you sobbing and it hurt, but it hurt even more when I heard you say "I'm sorry Kanda…i'm sorry…"
"Oh…well…it's alright. Hey, i'm going to go on a walk alright? I'll be back later."
You just didn't get it. You broke my heart, and you think that sorry will cover it.
You looked shocked for a moment then nodded, not knowing that I had my fingers crossed behind my back.
I let myself freefall for a few moments, then I murmured "It's to late to apologize Allen….because I already jumped." Then everything went black.
