Chrome walked down the hallways of Namimori school. She smiled at the boys who looked at her sweetly. She held her bag containing her weapon close as she walked, keeping her real feelings hidden. She went to her locker, entering the combination. She gently tugged the lock to fully unlatch it and pulled the door open so she could place books inside. She grabbed the binders for her next class and closed her locker. She was on her way to the classroom when her best friend, Yuni, walked up to her.

"Hi Chrome-chan!"

"H-Hi, Yuni-chan." she said softly.

A smile graced her face when Kyoko and Haru walked over. Kyoko's genuine smile always seemed to lighten up Chrome's day.

The blue haired girl had been feeling uneasy all day, but in the second last period of the day, it hit her like a ton of bricks.

Mukuro had been defeated.

Upon realizing this, she jumped up abruptly and ran from the room despite the protests of the teacher. She ran down the hall to the girls washroom. She was so angry and sad she couldn't handle it. She was a sad person as it was, but with this, nothing could stop her from taking her trident out of her bag. She used it to slit her wrists as she cried on the bathroom floor, in a growing puddle of her blood while her organs poofed away.

Kyoko ran into the washroom just as Chrome was fading away. She knelt down in the pool of crimson liquid and held Chrome's hand, as she knew her best friend wasn't going to make it.

She said, "You know, Chrome-chan, I have always loved you for who you are. I wouldn't have ever judged you, so why didn't you tell me about how you felt? It would've been okay, we could've gotten through it together." Kyoko cried out "You could have such a happy life right now. But it's okay because your life was very valuable to us all, we love you Chrome-chan." Kyoko kissed Chrome's forehead just as the life left her pale body. She hugged her best friend's cold, lifeless body and whispered, "I love you."
