Disgusting

Her eyes involuntarily closed as he began to press gentle kisses down her neck. His lips were so soft, so sweet, she didn't want him to stop. Ever. His round eyes looked up as he went lower and lower, until he stopped.

She looked down, knowing why he had stopped. It was the scar. The ugly, horrid, disfigured part of her body that had plagued her since she was five. It was hideous.

"Don't look," she whispered, turning her head so she could not see the disgust in his eyes. She had trusted him; she had let him in. She had hoped. She had been disappointed.

Lips pressed against the lumpy piece of skin on her body, and against it, he mumbled the words, "You're beautiful in every way."

She returned her gaze to him as he continued to trail kisses down her body. He was lying; he only wanted one thing. As soon as it was over, he would tell her how disgusting she was.

That wasn't the case, though. After they had engaged in some passionate and loud love-making (he knew how to make her feel good) he took her in his arms and held her. He kissed every inch of her face, claiming love.

She pulled away.

"What is it, love?" He ran a hand down the side of her face, watching her with a mix of affection and confusion.

"I'm ugly." She indicated the scar.

"You're beautiful." He smiled and it was a smile filled with love and passion. Nobody had ever looked at her in such a way; not even her own parents. Once she had incurred the injury, her pure blood had somewhat diminished in their eyes.

"It's just, it's been with me for so long. If you must know, I got it when I –"

She was silenced by lips against hers and bare skin pressing against her. "I don't need to know," he said gently. "All I need to know is that you know I love you."

She hesitated. Why hadn't he upped and left yet? Why was he still there, holding her like it meant something.

He smiled up at her lovingly, kissing her again. "I love you," he all but mouthed.

She loved him, too. Merlin, she loved him with all of her heart. She never wanted to lose him, despite thinking that that would be inevitable. The others who had seen her scar had run for the hills.

He reached up from where he had his head resting on her breast and kissed her lips gently. "You are the light of my life," he said. "You have been from the moment I laid eyes on you." He kissed her again.

Her cheek rested against his head, her mouth not moving. This was the longest one to have ever stayed with her. As he trailed kisses down her neck again, she wondered how long it would take him to realise how disgusting she was.

I hope you liked it! I'm quite pleased with how it turned out, actually. Thank you to the Quidditch folks for suggesting who to pair her with.

I'm taking pairing/character requests via PM, so if you have something in mind, please send me a PM. Happy to write it!
