It was a quiet day at the hellsing manor. There were no missions or freak attacks so everything was quite calm; a somewhat rare sight. Alucard and seras we're asleep in his coffin. Integra gave them permission to sleep late. It was getting close to Seras' 20th birthday. Integra and Walter we're planning on buying her an ipod nano. Even some of the troops we're gonna get her a card.
Alucard on the other hand, didn't have a clue what to get her. Times had changed since he was human. Instead of the simple cake and day off factor. There were things such as ipods and games consoles and for the girls of course, were make up and clothes. Yes, Alucard didn't have a clue; which made him feel kinda retarded. And it wasn't helping him get to sleep.
Seras, was fast asleep in his arms. She was breathing quite loud. But that didn't bother her mate much. He was just having trouble thinking of what to get her for her 20th.
"god, women are so hard to shop for!" He snarled quietly.
"hmmnnm." Seras stirred. She was dreaming.
"dreaming…" Alucard smiled. He could tell if his mate was dreaming or having a nightmare. The scratches on his chest tell the story. Yes seras was quite content in her dreaming wonderland.
"I wonder what she's dreaming abou" Alucard said to himself. Then he had an idea. But was it a good idea?
"I could go into her dreams and see what she's dreaming." Alucard throught to himself. "Imight give me an idea of what she wants for her birthday…but that would be an invasion of privacy…" he thought about this. He never went into seras' dreams unless it was to calm her nightmares.
"I guess it wouldn't hurt just this once."
Alucard closed his eyes. And before her knew it; he was in seras' mind.
