The first chapter is a really short and unexplained, but I just
want to see what you think.
Make my day and review? (:

"I hate you." The words pooled out of my mouth with so much ease. Like they had been brewing inside of me for some time; waiting for the right moment to escape.

"What did you say?" The man with the blond streaked hair questioned, with just an ounce of pain hiding behind his piercing, green eyes. That's all he was now, just some man – a stranger, even.

I waited a moment, questioning myself. Do I really? I mean this is what I wanted, isn't it? To escape from this life, right?

The doubt shrunk away soon enough. "I said - I hate you." I kept my voice as stable as I could.

His eyes flickered away from mine as he slowly nodded, "I see." He said, understandingly. His jaw clenched, obviously trying to hold back what he really wanted to say. "If you feel that way, Miley – I can't stop it."

He lifted his boot and rested his weight against my overly-stuffed, olive suitcase set. "Is that it?" I asked, crossing my head. "Is that all you have to say to me? Honestly?"

His eyes focused on the polished floorboards, avoiding my glare, "The car is waiting for you outside. . . Miley, I wouldn't be doing this if I didn't have to. You left me no choice."

I argued, "I left you no choice." I mocked. "I think you mean, 'The whore that I married is going to leave me if I don't kick you out, and I really don't feel like pocketing out for child-support', dad."

He looked back up, "Miley." He warned in a stern voice.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Did I offend your whorish wife?" I asked, genuinely.

"What has gotten into you!" He stepped forward; close enough for me to be able to smell her perfume on his clothes.

"I know who you've have gotten into, does that count?"

"Miley Ray Stuart-" That tone; It was enough to drive me crazy.

"No. Not Stuart." I emphasized. "I haven't been a part of this family for a long time, neither has Jackson and you know it." I stepped even closer to him, ignoring the tramp's stench. "Ever since you let her into our lives, everything's gone to shit."

His mouth gaped over, ever-so-slightly.

"What are you so shocked about? It's the truth, dad." I blinked as my eyes start to become cloudy with tears. "I haven't changed. You have. She changed you. She ruined you. Are you that ignorant that you haven't noticed?"

He swallowed; I could tell by the way his adam's apple jumped.

After all these years, he was losing his little girl. You would think he would more torn up about it, but no. I know the moment the doors behind me close, he'll be relieved that I'm finally gone.

"I'm glad you're sending me away." No matter the location, it was away from here; away from him and her.

I took another moment to stare into his eyes, waiting for his guilty conscious to kick in. But it didn't. I sucked in my lips and crossed my head in disappointment before I sharply turned away from and wheeled my two suitcases out of his life.
