It was late at night and Connor had just finished updating the ARC's database. He was on his way to the break room to get a cup of tea when he saw Becker's office door slightly open and light spilling through the gap. Connor paused as he contemplated asking the Captain if would like a cup of tea as well, when he heard Becker talking to someone.

"It won't unzip."

"Are you sure?" Connor's eyebrows raised slightly in surprise as he recognised Sarah's voice. There had been rumours circulating about the two of them working late but he hadn't paid them much attention. After all he had assumed Sarah was working on the artefact and Becker just didn't seem like the type to have an office romance.

"I think it's stuck," Becker said making Connor's eyebrows raise even higher, 'but I have been wrong before,' he thought taking a step closer.

"I can get Connor to help if you want," Sarah offered. Outside the door Connor took a step back, wondering if he could make a quick escape.

"No, he's busy," Becker replied. Silently Connor breathed a sigh of relief.

"Well, have you tried extracting it?" Connor frowned, that was a bit unusual, 'Sarah is a scientist so maybe she liked to use technical terms,' he rationalised.

"No, I didn't think of that blindingly obvious suggestion!"

"All right, no need to get testy – here let me try." There was a couple of seconds of silence. Connor edged a bit closer to the door.

"Anything?" Becker asked.

"Got it," Sarah replied, "wait it's empty!" Connor's eyes widened in shock, "there must be something wrong with the file, I'll get Connor to send it again tomorrow."

"I hate computers."

"I know."

Connor shook his head in disbelief, 'forget about tea, I need rest.'

Sarah and Becker watched Connor walk away on the security monitor in Becker's office and clinked their tea cups together.

"That was fun," Sarah said taking a sip of tea, "but do you think its fair to mess with him like that?" Becker shrugged indifferently.

"Serves him right for eavesdropping."
