Hamha! (By the way, I get into a habit of talking Ham-Chat so I'll tell you what I mean. I said hello.) My name's Hamtaro! I'm a hamster who just loves adventure! While my owner, Laura, is at school, I go to my friends and my clubhouse underground. I have a lot of "hamigos." (I just meant buddies.) There's the leader, Boss, and then there's Snoozer and Jingle. They're all wild hamsters so they roam the outdoors, except Snoozer. He just Zuzuzu (sleeps) all the time. There's also Dexter, Pashmina, Howdy (who's extremely annoying,) Penelope, Oxnard, Bijou, Cappy, Maxwell, Sandy, Stan (who's Sandy's twin and also very annoying,) and Panda. Today a new ham-ham (hamster) moved into the house next door to Laura. I'll tell you all about it!
"Bye Hamtaro! I'll see you after Mom, Dad, and I stop by to meet the new neighbors! You be a good boy and don't chew any holes in my new curtains!" Laura called.
"Now's my chance!" I said. I quickly crawled through the door to my cage and headed to Laura's dresser. I slid through the hole in the wall and bounced into the front yard.
"Hiya, Brandy!" I said. Brandy's Laura's dog. He's kind of like Snoozer, sleeps all the time…
When I reached the clubhouse, I saw Bijou in a go-rush (hurry.)
"What's up, Bijou?"
"Oh, Hamtaro! My cousin just moved into town from America!" (We live in Japan, and yet we don't speak Japanese… real awkward…)
"Yeah, so we're scrub-E (cleaning) the clubhouse for when we go meet her! Man, I sure hope she's cute…" Stan said. He's like that all the time. Personally, I'm not getting the girl thing yet… Panda didn't seem to notice me. He was busy building a new chair for Bijou's cousin. He lives with a carpenter so he's good at making things.
"I'm going to see if my cousin can come now," Bijou said cheerfully. Boss just blushed and called, "Okay." He's got a crush on her. Everybody knows it too.
Later on (like ten minutes later or something… I can't tell time!)
"Everybody, she's here! I'd like you to meet my cousin, Ping."
Well she was definitely related to Bijou, they looked almost the exact same except Ping wasn't all white, she had black patches on her and a little black heart next to her tail. She looked a little like Panda.
"Hi everyone," Ping said a little shyly.
"Hamha, Ping, welcome to the clubhouse," we all chirped. Then we introduced ourselves, and Howdy sure made a good first impression…not… he just had to start off with one of his lame jokes. Lucky for him she actually laughed. Then when she asked Panda his name he just sat there. He was shaking a lot and blushing.
"I-I-I-I'm P-P-P-P…" he stuttered. Cappy had to nudge him hard in the ribs to get him to spit out, "Panda!" Ping smiled and giggled. Then she kissed him on the cheek. Disgusting…
"She kissed me on the cheek! Ugh…" Panda said. Then he fainted… I don't think I've ever seen him so… weird… never mind, I've seen worse…
That evening, we told Ping good-bye and stuff… I saw Panda give Ping a pink hibiscus. She really liked it… then she kissed him again… and he fainted again… freaks… I hurried home and jumped through the door just as Laura came in. "Whew…"I thought.
That night I thought about Ping joining our team today. She's going to make a pretty cool member. Until then, "Bye-Q!" (Good-bye duh!)
