Envy held Edward's back as he slowly put him down before himself on the bed. Golden eyes stared up at violet ones. No words were said. Envy leaned down and kissed Edward's forehead, staying close for a few seconds before pulling back and looking down into the golden orbs again.

"This will be our first and last."

Edward nodded knowingly and waited. Envy leaned down and kissed the golden haired male's cheek, before giving light kisses downwards his neck. He stopped and started sucking on the other's neck, leaving a red mark. None of them said a word, but Edward's faint moaning warmed Envy's supposedly cold heart.

Violet eyes traveled to Edward's side. The blood had nearly soaked the bandage that was there. "Edward.." Envy frowned. Edward tiredly raised his arm and put his hand on the homunculus' cheek. Envy looked up at Edwards face, still frowning a bit. "Is there not.. anything I can do..?" Envy asked, knowing the answer already. Edward smiled weakly up at him. "I'm sorry, Envy. I really am."

Envy took a deep breath and nodded. He noticed Edward's arm falling limp. "Edward..?" The homunculus put a hand on Edward's head, gently stroking his head. "Are you really…?"

"I'm sorry.. I love you, Envy.." A weak voice spoke, while his look was gentle and peaceful. Envy widened his eyes, understanding reality. "I know.."
Edward smiled weakly at the person who was looking down on him as if he was the most precious treasure in existence.

"In another life maybe.." Edward's voice also seemed to weaken now. "Then.. I'll definitely find you. No matter what." The homunculus put both his hands on the golden haired male's cheeks.

Edward seemed to try chuckling, but it came out as a weak giggle instead. "Then.. I'll wait on you on the other side of this sky.."

Envy's eyes widened at this, but he nodded. "Yes.."

Edward seemed to sigh of relief and fully relax now. He closed his eyes and Envy could barely hear his love whisper "Thanks.. I'll be waiting then."

Envy heard Edward's last breath. His one and only love had now left this human world. He looked down on the peaceful looking male who had been alive just seconds ago. He stared at him for a while, hoping he would open his eyes and start breathing again if he just stared intensely enough. He then sighed. How could Edward expect him to be able to go on until he would die eventually but naturally? He tsk'ed and punched the wall. He looked down at his dead, but dear counterpart before talking in frustration. "You know I can't live here without you for even a second.." He talked as if Edward could still hear him. "You made me like this.. I can't go back. You changed me. I was a monster who killed without regret and acted on "father"'s orders, no matter how disturbing they would be. You changed me Edward, but now I can't live without you.."

Envy suddenly punched himself in the stomach and pushed his fist further in, until he found his red stone. He started pulling it out until he could finally see it. He looked down at it and laughed with irony. "You'll call me weak won't you? Hah.. well, it's your fault, pipsqueak." He looked down at the golden haired dead male that looked like he was only sleeping. "I just simply can't live without you. I can't take it." Envy pulled more at the red stone, making it slowly detach from his body. "See you soon, on the other side." He finally got the stone lose and threw in away, feeling his body slowly fade away. Seconds after he disappeared, one could hear a faint whisper; "My Edward."
