Serendipity
Heart beats, nubivagant colours change
It's a new start, birds chirp away
Feels like resurrection, the morn rays
Arcadian dew drops dance and
Steal breaths away
And the sun moves higher...
Azure sky, blazing sun
Warm zephyr, swaying grass
Birds rest, bracing them
For the imminent endeavours, and adventures
And time moves, the sun, slow,
Subsides to the horizon...
It's gradual at first, the sirimiri
Then sudden, hefty drops
And when it stops, the petrichor
Tranquil, the air is replete
Sun, there, settles, the rain it muses
And falls behind its curtain...
Starts out amaranthine, but night turns stygian dark
Sifting the moonlight, gazing the stars
Exuberant aurora now seems real far
Colder it gets, shrivelling up
Yet the restlessness of the day is gone
Journey is done, now the sempiternal freedom.
