Poetic Little Hearts
One-Shot
I slid my sunglasses off of my head and dropped them on the table. The rest of my family was hunting, I knew they'd be. I went before my Milan trip, just to be safe. My bags landed on the floor. I started to unbutton my jacket when I smelt something. It was tingly; enticing, yet repulsive; sweet, but foul. I went towards the smell in the kitchen.
I saw a colorful array of red, pink, and white. Little candy hearts rested on the counter. I got closer, just to read the words on them. I came across a little badly written poem.

I giggled at the poor literacy, obviously a joke. Only one person would be so kind as to make me laugh on February the fourteenth.
"Do you like it?" He asked, wrapping his arm around me.
"I love it, thank you." I leaned up to kiss him. He smiled in the kiss.
