She was running through a thick swirl of black soot, trying her best not to inhale much of it as she yelled 'Felix! Felix! Help me!' She was being chased, she didn't know what it was, or why, she just knew she had to get as far away from it as possibly. She couldn't remember anything about what was happening. She was so tired, but she had to continue running. The ground was dirt, covered with root...s, since there were rose bushes everywhere. The roses were all withered and brown. She tripped on a large root and scrambled to get up, the monster was getting closer, she couldn't see it properly through the smoke, only glowing red eyes. She scrambled to get up, feeling her ankle was broken. Limping, she heard a groan, a human one. 'Felix? Felix!' She limped towards the groans, finding Felix. 'Oh Felix...' she whispered. He was covered in his own blood, pouring out of a wound in his chest. 'Run... Marzia... run' he said. The monster was closing in on them. 'No. I won't leave you' Marzia sobbed. All of a sudden, the monster burst into a large group of colourful butterflies. She screamed. They may have seemed harmless to others, but to her, they were terrifying, feeling the area spinning around her, everything went black.
'Marzia!' She woke up, and felt tears running down her cheeks, it was just a dream. 'Are you okay Marzia?' Felix asked worriedly, with wide eyes. 'Yeah.. I think so.' She stuttered. 'Actually... no. I was having a nightmare. It was horrible.' Felix put his arms around her. 'Its okay, it was just a nightmare, its over now. You're safe.' 'Y-yeah. Just a nightmare.' She whispered. 'Wait right here' Felix said, grinning. He got out of bed and walked out the door. After a while he came back with two mugs of her favourite white hot chocolate. ' Thank you Felix' She took the hot chocolate in her hands and took a sip. The creamy hot white chocolate warmed her up inside and made her feel much better. Felix always knew how to make her feel better, even though he loved to annoy her in the day. Their dog, Maya jumped up onto their bed and tried to lick Marzias face. She laughed, put her empty mug on a bedside table and cuddled an excited Maya, Marzia had completely forgotten about the nightmare now.
